Poem - Fight

Your smell lingers
Your voice still rings in my ears
I can see you standing down the street
Your warmth surrounds me
But yet you are still not here
Gone away to fight for me
To fight a battle to save me
I sit and worry
I pray for you to come back
Come back and tell me it is going to be alright
I want to hold your hand and never let go
But yet I know it will take some time
Time away from you, makes time so slow
Only worry fills my heart
My love for you can't be stopped
Don't let this be your last fight
Come back to fight for me
Come back to hold me tight
